non-denominational church service held in the Sloan Museum on Sunday at 12:00 noon. Come and join the fellowship.

The Flint Area Auto Modelers are pleased to present the Model Car Display and Contest for the 6th year at the 2009 Sloan Auto Fair.
This year's event will include the Model Car display on Saturday. The Model Car Contest on Sunday with top 10 awards including Best of Show and junior awards. All types of models are welcome. So, bring your model vehicle and join the fun. Door prizes for Model contest entrants.
The Make & Take model building for kids up 14 years of age is on Saturday and Sunday. Since we started this event, we have built over 500 models with the kids. All free of charge thanks to our generous sponsors.
We also present an award to the owner of the car we would like build a model of. This is a pro built model of that car that is presented to the owner at the 2010 Sloan Auto Fair. The only criteria to be met is there must be a model kit available of your car and you must be present on Sunday. The winner will receive a plaque at the awards presentation and the model the following year. Past winners have been 1969 El Camino SS, 1970 Camaro Z/28, 1966 Buick Gran Sport, 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and the 2008 winner a 1967 Dodge Charger. So be sure to stop in the museum either day to see the 2008 winning model.
All events presented by The Flint Area Auto Modelers are included in the your car registration or spectator fee.
