Judging Procedures and Criteria
Judging Procedures
1.) Judging will take place 8am - 4pm on Saturday and 8am to 1:00 pm on Sunday. If you arrive on the show field after 1:00 pm on Sunday, we are sorry, but your vehicle will not be judged. On Sunday if your car has not yet been judged by 11:30AM, PLEASE GO TO THE INFORMATION BOOTH AND SIGN A SHEET INDICATING WHERE YOUR CAR IS LOCATED AND WHAT IT IS, TRY TO BE AS SPECIFIC ABOUT LOCATION AS YOU CAN.
2.) Car owners must complete the judging form and leave it on the windshield under the wiper or, if no wiper on the front seat.
3.) Someone need to be present to open the hood, trunk and doors for judging. Points will be lost if these areas are not looked at by the judges.
4.) There is no need to wait for the judges. They will be in all areas throughout both days.
5.) After judging, a sticker will be placed on your Registration ID to indicate to you and the judges that the vehicle has been judged.
Criteria
Body/Paint/Plating 1 to 25 Points
Sheet metal fit, hood, deck lid, fenders, doors, shields, running boards, trim, workmanship, alignment, glass, correctness and scripting, inside /outside bumpers, ornaments, door handles & trim pieces.
Engine & Compartment 1 to 25 points
Block, pan, attached accessories, paint, placing, cooling system & wiring.
Interior 1 to 25 points
Floor Covering, front and rear seats, condition, fit and workmanship, door and kick panels, headliner, dash, interior lights, radio & gauges.
Tires & Wheels 1 to 25 points
Lug nuts (visible), valve stems, covers, rims and tire condition
(If you are not present to open doors, trunk, hood, points will not be award/deducted from overall points)
Points are kept confidential and will not be given out, no exceptions.
