How to Volunteer

Whether a past, current or future volunteer, thank you for considering being a volunteer at the 38^th Sloan Museum Auto Fair.  The success of this event would not be possible if it wasn’t for the time and effort put forth by hundreds of volunteers like you.

The 2010 Sloan Auto Fair will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 26^th and 27th, 2010.

Areas where the volunteers are needed most are at the admission gates, directing the vehicle traffic, registration and the Saturday Cruise.  If the weekend does not work for you, we also need volunteers on Thursday June 24th and Friday June 25.  This is when we set up the ground with fence, tents and signs.!!!

Volunteer hours run from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Hours are as flexible as the volunteer.  Sign up for 3 hours, split hours, all day, one day or both days.  This year we are even accommodating groups who want to promote their own organization by working a gate as a group and it only takes 3 to be a group.  Call for details, Sue at 810-793-6358, between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Each volunteer will receive an official Sloan Auto Fair Volunteer Dash Plaque and Baseball cap which will be the volunteer identification and free admission through any gate either day of the show.

Confirmation of work assignment will be sent by mail or e-mail, which will have a grounds map showing location of the volunteer check in tent.
