Join us for the 5th Annual Model Display and Contest, held in the Van Bolt Gallery inside the Sloan Museum. All types of models are welcome for display on Saturday, with the contest held on Sunday. Awards will be distributed to the top 15 with Junior and Best of Show Awards.
Over 500 models have been built over the last 4 years during the Make and Take Activity for children 14 and under. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, children can build a model car at the event with the help of club members, and then take it home free of charge!
Every year club members go to the show field and select a car they would most like to build a model of. This is called the Club Pick Award. The winner of this award receives a plaque at the Awards Presentations on Sunday and receives a Pro Built Model of the car at the next year’s Auto Fair.
Don’t miss the Hobby Town R/C Racing Club on Saturday, 10:00 to 3:00, on the playground behind the Sarvis Center.
All activities held by The Flint Area Auto Modelers are FREE of charge with a car registration or spectator admission. |
